Churn Creek Retail Center is located in the heart of the retail hub in east Redding near the Mount Shasta Mall. The Retail Center is 100% leased. The tenants include Starbucks, Papa John's Pizza, Mattress Firm, Edward Jones, and Kremer Chiropractic. This newer strip center is next to Home Depot with excellent traffic. The buildings are in great condition, with good signage and visibility.

1910 E. 20th Street

20th Street is a 7,600 square foot building on the south side of the Chico Mall property. The building is occupied by Panera Bread and Children's Choice Dentistry. The Center is well positioned off of Hwy 99 in central Chico and with bright coloring stands out well in front of the Chico Mall.

Chico Creek Professional Park

This beautiful office complex was designed with a park like setting in mind. It is comprised of five separate buildings. The complex is currently occupied by a variety of professional businesses including law firms, medical providers and consultants. Hignell has been managing Chico Creek Professional Park since 1984.

Lassen Road Offices

This commercial property has three units and a total of 17,906 square feet of rentable space. Built in 1985, it has been under Hignell management since 2013.

Philadelphia Square Office Building

This fully occoupied 7 unit building in the Independence Circle complex in Chico was built in 1991 and has 5,756 square feet of rentable space. It is currently occupied by professional service companies including engineers, marketers, brokers and legal services.

Towne & Country Shopping Center

This 35 unit commercial shopping center is anchored by Save Mart Grocery Store and has 132,180 rentable square feet of space, along with a sizeable parking lot. Towne & Country has been managed by The Hignell Companies since 2000.

Veterans Administration Building

The VA Building is a 53,101 square foot building built in 2019. It has been under management with The Hignell Companies since July of 2019. Hignell maintains a full time onsite facility manager for this client due to the significant complexities and needs of this organization.

Ulta Beauty

Ulta Beauty is a 10,015 square foot building located near Costco in Chico. The Ulta building was built in 2016 and has been under management since July of 2019.

California Highway Patrol Dispatch Office

This large commercial building is the home of the California Highway Patrol Dispatch headquarters just south of Chico. It comprises 37, 230 square feet of building space spread out over 5.9 acres and was built in 2018.

Gas Point Road Business Complex

Home to Cottonwood Dry Cleaners and The Shipping Store, these two 1500 square foot storefront retail units built in 1991 are currently managed by The Hignell Companies and are part of a large shopping center consisting of Holiday Market, Ace Hardware, Knox Realty, Cottonwood Physical Therapy as well as many other businesses. The center is conveniently located on Gas Point Road in Cottonwood near freeway access, where there is plenty of traffic exposure and is visible from Interstate 5.

Stony Creek Square

Stony Creek Square is a 16 unit commercial property with 78,528 square feet of rentable space. Current large tenants include the Grocery Outlet and the Dollar Tree. Hignell has managed this property since April 2019.

Acorn Oaks Mini Storage built in 2004 has 367 units and has been under management by the Hignell Companies since 2006 .

Paradise Shopping Center

Originally bult in 1964 Paradise Shopping Center, anchored by Holiday Market, has 55,623 square feet of rentable space with 16 units. Affected by the 2018 Camp Fire, many units in the shopping center have been under renovation and are now ready for occupancy.

Cypress Square Shopping Center

Cypress Square is in the middle of Redding off Cypress Ave and easily reached from downtown Redding. All of our tenants are all locally owned and operated stores. Orchard Nutrition is an award-winning health food and supplement store which has grown with the community and anchors the shopping center.
